I am currently a math teacher at Pelican Rapids High School (4 preps - Pre-Calculus (college credit), AP Calculus, Intermediate Algebra, & Math 10 - basic geometry) and I am the Head Boys Basketball Coach.  This is currently my 22nd year teaching and 16th in this position at PRHS.  I am married to Renae, who teaches 1st grade at Viking Elementary, and we have three daughters Mackenzie (17 - Senior at PRHS), Bailey (15 - Sophomore at PRHS), and Katelyn (12 - 6th grader at Viking Elementary).  Two of the highlights to my professional life include seeing students score a passing grade on their AP Calculus exam in the Spring (love to see the 4s and 5s) and in 2009 our basketball team completed the season with a perfect record of 33-0 and won the MN state AA championship.  Our closest game of the entire season was 12 points and this happened in the championship game.  I take great pride in working with our students and athletes in Pelican Rapids High School in helping them reach their highest potential.
